More than 20 years in the sport. I strip away the work that fills your schedule but steals your speed. Most athletes drive themselves into the ground out of fear that doing less means getting slower.
Find the speed you've been leaving on the table
I don't hand out generic plans and hope everything fixes itself. I look at what is slowing you down, fix the leaks and prioritize the work that makes you actually faster.
01We target what is actually holding you down↓
Before I write a single workout, we dive into your actual lifestyle: your work and family dynamics, how much time you realistically have and what training load your body can actually handle. Every metric is tracked and analyzed, and continuous, direct communication between us keeps the plan evolving.
02No more second-guessing↓
To get better at rowing, you have to row. But how much, how long and how hard? After a few weeks of training on your own things get complicated. You lose the initial feel and you start second-guessing what you're doing. That's why athletes who coach themselves often end up back at the starting line. When I write your program that guesswork disappears. Every session has a clear purpose, connects to the bigger picture and respects how much your body can actually handle at that moment.
03Master the stroke and build real efficiency↓
You send me videos from the erg and/or the boat. You get precise tasks to target specific technical details. A better stroke means higher efficiency, and in rowing efficiency is the foundation of both a faster boat and long-term health. Beyond video analysis we meet once a week for a 30-minute video call to talk through current challenges, review your training and fine-tune your technique face-to-face.
04Built for real life↓
This isn't a rigid PDF you follow on your own. The program updates week by week and sometimes day by day, based on your actual schedule, whether that's family, work or travel. When your week shifts we adjust the plan. You have a direct line to me via messaging for quick updates, schedule changes and solving things as they come. Training is an active process that requires constant communication between us. Because of this level of deep involvement I keep my roster limited to 15 athletes.

Elite-level infrastructure built for real life.
Elite rowing squads have dedicated staff planning every single session. Almost nobody builds that level of individual programming for someone juggling a career and a family. Certainly not with a rigorous, high-performance approach.

I am not going to ask you to train more. I am going to make the hours you already have point in one direction.
As a national team rower I spent years figuring things out the hard way. I know what it is to stall, and to push harder out of frustration when the numbers do not move. You do not need to repeat the mistakes I made.
When you are balancing a career and a family, the last thing you need is to guess whether your training is working or, worse, to risk burning out physically and mentally.

There is a faster boat inside the hours you already train.
Most masters athletes do not need more time. They need the time they have pointed in one direction, by someone who can see both halves of it.
